Cremona, I’ll be back!

4th Round of the RGMMC Champions of the Future at Cremona

This weekend ended up being a tough one. The build up went well. I had a decent start by qualifying P3 in my group P9 overall.

I made a good start in Heat C-D, getting to the lead on the first lap, but there was some contact and I DNF’d. A massive bummer, but that’s racing!

In Heat C-F I started P3, worked my way to P2 and then had a quiet race trying to catch an incredibly fast P1! I finished P2.

In Heat C-E.  I had a good start getting to P2, but I didn’t have the pace and fell back finishing P4, P3 after penalties.

In Heat A-C, I started P4. I had a good start, but didn’t have the pace to fight, I fell back to P6, and then to P8 on the line.

In Heat B-C I started P4 and finished P4, again struggling for pace.

Saturday started with Super Heat B. I started P9, and made my way to P6.

In the final, I started P13. At the start some contact saw me fall back to P18 and battled to P14. My fastest lap was .6s off the fastest lap. A bumper penalty, saw me classified P20. It’s a disappointing result.  I’m going to work hard and come back fighting in two weeks for FIA European Championship.
