Fastest laps in the final, not fast enough to get to the front!

Qualifying dictated Jack's weekend in Sarno, for the third round of the WSK Super Masters Series. Jack didn’t have a great track position when he went for his fast lap, he caught and tangled with other drivers. Jack qualified P23 in group, P46 out of 57 drivers. Jack was in group A, which meant he was on the pole side for every heat, but he started P19. Every heat was about making up positions.

On Friday, Jack climbed 11 places to finish P8.

In Saturday’s heats, it was a similar theme.

In Heat A-B Jack had a steady drive up 10 places to finish P9

In Heat A-C, up 8 places to finish P11

Heat A-D, up 13 places to finish P6.

Jack made it through the heats in P19, meaning he started Pre-final A in P10.

In Pre-Final A, Jack started in P10, but struggled with an outside start and battled back to P11.

Jack started the final in P23. After a horrendous accident for his brother Oscar, that saw the race red-flagged on lap one. Oscar was taken off in an ambulance to a medical facility. We would later discover that Oscar had a fractured wrist. However, Jack, raced, not knowing the fate of his brother. He started P23 and raced to P11, setting the fastest lap of the race on the way.
